With the Nami chair, my primary intention was to reduce as much as possible what gives stackable wooden chairs their bulky appearance.
To do this, I interrupted the rear legs at mid-height and left a slight gap between those legs and the backrest panel. These two details considerably lighten the visual reading of the backrest — and with it, the entire silhouette of the chair.
